Dorset Wedding Magician at Corfe Castle

A few weeks ago, I drove south to perform as a Dorset wedding magician. I was a stone’s throw from Corfe Castle. I liked it so much we spent a couple of days there last week, walking the beaches near Bournemouth. The views are pretty spectacular.

I was employed to do close up magic around the tables and then a short cabaret comedy magic show after the meal. I enjoy working as a wedding magician here in Dorset and around the country.

The bride and groom had set up a large tent in their garden. It was a calm day and the conditions were perfect. It was a real family affair, with many generations present. Indeed, many people had travelled from Europe for the event.

The advantage of performing table magic before a cabaret is getting to know the people. It means you know who to interact with during the show. It usually makes you relax as people are genuinely friendly and want to help. This was no exception. Everyone was lovely and made my life very easy.

It is quite some way from London, but this part of the country is such a joy.

The picture above shows the ruin of the castle, which was visible from the wedding venue. I did not have time to visit the castle, but I hear it makes a great outing. There are many walks and pathways in the surrounding area, and it is a very popular holiday destination.
